2. Quotes and Project Agreements
- All work is quoted individually. A quote outlines the scope, timings, and price.
- When you accept a quote, a contract is formed, and work will begin.
- Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 30 days.
3. Payment Terms
- Invoices are due within 14 days unless agreed otherwise.
- All prices exclude VAT unless specified.
- Unpaid invoices may result in suspension of services and use of debt recovery services.
- If rates are not fixed in advance, our standard hourly rates apply:
- £90/hour general
- £100/hour for development
- £120/hour for urgent
- £150/hour for out-of-hours work
- We reserve the right to adjust these rates with reasonable notice.
4. What’s Included – and What’s Not
- Quotes cover agreed deliverables only.
- Extra items (e.g. stock imagery, hosting, domain renewals, photography, copywriting, ad spend) are charged separately unless explicitly included.
- All timelines are estimates and may shift depending on your input or changing requirements.
5. Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property we create remains ours until full payment is received.
- You must have the legal right to use any assets you give us (images, fonts, brand elements, etc.).
- We reserve the right to decline to work with materials we believe may breach laws or rights.
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and required assets on time
- Respond to requests, feedback, and approvals promptly
- Only provide content that complies with the law
- Review and sign off on work at key stages
If delays or scope changes occur due to your input or inaction, this may affect costs or delivery times.
7. Changing the Scope
- If the brief changes after you approve a quote, we’ll provide an updated estimate.
- No additional work will begin without your approval of the revised scope and price.
8. Third-Party Tools and Services
- We may use trusted third parties for hosting, software, or marketing services.
- You may need to accept their terms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta).
- We are not liable for issues caused by these third parties, though we’ll support you where we can.
9. Service Levels & Issue Resolution
- For general support queries: response within 24 hours (Mon–Fri)
- For urgent issues or downtime: response within 4 hours
- Resolution times will vary depending on the issue
- For business-critical systems, we can offer a tailored SLA – please ask
10. Software Updates & Warranty
- We may recommend updates to improve performance or security. These are quoted separately.
- Our custom software comes with a 3-month warranty from launch. This covers any defects caused by our development, which we will fix at no extra cost.
11. Limitations of Liability
- We’re committed to quality – but we can’t guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g. search rankings or sales). We are not liable for:
- Loss of profits, contracts, or business opportunities
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Issues caused by delays outside our control
- Errors in signed-off work
- Delays due to urgent requests or last-minute changes
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Data Protection
We comply with UK GDPR and all relevant data laws. You can read our full Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and store data.
13. Cancellation or Termination
You may cancel work at any time – but we’ll charge for any work completed up to that point. We may terminate an agreement if:
- Payments are repeatedly late
- There is a breach of these terms
- Continued working relationship becomes unviable
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of England and Wales.
