Completely bespoke and built from the ground up, London South East has a platform that offers its 250,000 registered members access to a large resource of financial information.
Tools like real-time stock prices and historical performance reports give members the vital resources they need to make the best investment decisions. They can build, track and save their own portfolios. The software is also built to offer different access and tools to different membership levels; premium members can access additional tools like live prices and tools for filtering their chosen stocks and shares.
Another seamlessly integrated function of the client’s platform is the live chat, where their members can discuss and share information with other members.
One of the biggest challenges that our client faces is dealing with the ever-changing large pools of data. It’s vital to investors and needs to be available 24/7.
To manage huge amounts of stock market data including share prices, trades, RNS articles and international stocks data we initially built a custom connector to maintain the constant delivery and keep everything as smooth as possible. As the data sets got larger and more frequent, we needed to reconsider how we delivered and stored it. We moved from an SQL database solution to more advanced data storage combining REDIS and MONGO DB.
We keep on top of all this with regular research into new technologies so members can continue to enjoy its ease of use, useful tools, and reliability.
The software we’ve built for this client is an ongoing project, constantly evolving and improving. We continue to modernise the site and develop new features to ensure their members have access to the best tools and stock information available. The Great Projects is a worldwide volunteer travel programme that offers more than 35 projects to those who are passionate about conservation and supporting wildlife. They approached Revive as their old website wasn’t performing well. Following an in-depth consultation with the client to pinpoint their growth bottlenecks, we rebuilt their site’s system to make it more mobile-friendly.
The Great Projects (TGP) is renowned for its exciting wildlife volunteer programs. When they approached us to enhance their website’s performance while maintaining regular updates like news and blog posts, we were eager to help. Our regular work has since doubled the site’s performance rating.
